Collie Notes

Collie supports a so-called CardFS. It is a way to pre-install packagages to SD.

If you haven't already done so, please read the CardFS HowTo
and the CardFS feature list.

Akita Notes

Akita doesn't need a CardFS image since its flash partition is large enough to handle a full Hentges installation.

Common Notes

(GPE only) After first launching the GPE desktop, it will probably crash if you try to launch an application. This will only happen exaclty once. If you can trace the source of this let me know ;)

(GPE only) After deleting your old GPE preferences, you should click
"Ok" in Settings / Look and Feel to fix font-sizes of the matchbox desktop.
You only need to do this once, and only after deleting your old matchbox preferences.
