HDD Temperature
Thanks to a post by Daniel on the P30 forum, i've found a sweet little tool
to display the current temperature of the HDD in the P30.

Users of Debian SID can install the required software with a simple
apt-get install hddtemp
For hddtemp to work correctly, you'll have to add the following line to /etc/hddtemp.db:
"IC25N060ATMR04-0" 194 C "IBM Travelstar ??? serie"
BTW: Does anyone out there know the model number of the HDD?

Now you can read out your drives temperature with the following command:
hddtemp /dev/hda
Users of gkrellm can install the gkrellm-hddtemp plugin.
