Samsung P30 XVM1500 Linux HowTo

I've setup a forum for P30 owners here.

All in all i can say that this Laptop runs very well under Linux.

PROs:

• Very nice and robust casing
• Very quiet fan
• Quiet HDD
• Excellent display
• Hot-looking blue power button :)
• 3 to 5 hours of battery life

CONs:

• No ACPI suspend-to-$ANYTHING at the moment
• No OpenSource WLAN driver
• Requires latest CVS XFree86 version for 3D DRI
