FYI, all hardware works with kubuntu/ubuntu Feisty 7.04, including the JMicron controller and the Wireless LAN. I haven't noticed any problems with the wired LAN ports either. Note that you have to disable the JMicron controller in the BIOS to get the installer to work, but after ubuntu is installed, simply add the "irqpoll" option to the list of kernel options and reenable the JMicron controller next time you boot the machine. -- --Darth Android

So, I'd like to say that I got jMicron's IDE working (that 2nd ide controller) without any fuss (installed Ubuntu 7.04 without controller, added irqpoll to kernel param's and enabled controller) or tweaking. Tried it with 200Gb and 160Gb Seagates. For wlan, it found my local network, but i couldnt connect, maybe because lack of wpa support? Lan worked also, but I cant test it with 100M+ speeds. Kernel version is 2.6.20-15-generic.

Now I go working on remote, thanks for instructions :]
