27-JUN-04

Another big update with tons of KDE and gnome stuff. No problems so far.

It turned out that the problem with the ISO8859-15 locale can be fixed by removing the folder /usr/share/i18n/charmaps/ISO8859-15.

20-JUN-04

This (rather big) update pulled in tons of kde stuff. Also the theme problem with gnome was fixed.

It messed up the X fonts real bad. Also the de_DE-iso8859-15 locale can no longer be generated.

27-MAY-04

This update broke some Gnome apps (eg. Nautilus) and removed all GTK2 themes.

Looks likes there's a huge KDE update on the way.

No problems.

This update fixed the "missing" Session files for GDM.

16-MAY-04

This upgrade broke the german keyboard layout on the system consoles.

To fix the problem replace /etc/console/boottime.kmap.gz with /etc/console/boottime.old.kmap.gz.

Cause: Unkown / Bug

10-APR-04

GDM now uses the folder /etc/dm/Sessions for Session startup files. This will become the standard among all window managers.

However: The old Session files haven't been ported to the new folder, yet so GDM is borked ATM.

To fix the problem create a Session file for your WM manually in /etc/dm/Sessions.
